Minutes from The FVFC meeting held on February 4, 2010.

Meeting called to order at 19:00 by Roger K.

Visitor: Samuel Slocum – PA-28-180, of Plainfield.

Minutes were read and accepted. Treasurer’s report was read and accepted.

Emerging Business:

Christmas party will be at Arrowhead CC.

Cushing Picnic will be on 19 June.

Oshkosh – request to rent tent again at same terms.

Group food – supper only, Tom H will head, several offered to be part of a team to prep dinner one night.

Ultralight Demonstration Team – may be some interest eventually…

Discussed possibility of FVFC BBQ / Hanger Dance / Campout. Catered by “Uncle Bubs” or other. Music by a DJ, Camping under your plane at Cushing.

Project Reports:

Phil B – RANS S6 is getting close, almost ready for inspection.

Steve – Kitfox – still working on wings.

Andrew – Cassutt – minimal progress to report.

Tom – Kitfox – wiring.

Bill F – Kolb Firestar – no report.

Roger – RV-7A – still making bits of progress.

Flying Reports:

Phil and Bob went around the patch at Cushing.

Discussion:

Bob is looking to get a group hotel room discount for Reno Air Races in mid September.

Watched video of the 2005 FVFC arrivals at Oshkosh.
